The Textures


An exclusive method lets you create complex textures by combining 7 kinds of basic components which use one another :

  • images (stills or animations)
  • procedureal patterns (surfacic or volumic)
  • color palettes
  • color cycles
  • progressions
  • overlays
  • projected mappings

Procedural patterns can be expanded by plugs-in in order to obtain new kind of patterns (existing plugs-in are sufficient in most cases).

Surface Bump

The structure of the surfaces enables the unique capability of surface mapping : the texture at last follows the surface whatever its morphing.

Quick preview of textures during all the steps of their definition.

Comprehensive setting of optic characteristics of a material (14 parameters). Each characteristic can be mapped to any component of a texture (bump, sharpness, transparency...).
