Over 25 years of experience spanning software development, architecture, product leadership and the design of infrastructure under strong constraints.
Most effective in phases of creation, restructuring and clarification.
Committed to civic engagement, particularly on digital and democratic issues.
Prefers human-scale organisations, cross-cutting problems, and contexts where the “why” matters as much as the “how”.
Available remotely, with occasional travel.
Since 2015
Design and promotion of a server-less Internet model for a decentralised collaborative cloud. Raising awareness around net neutrality, protection from mass surveillance, and moving beyond digital silos. A conceptual and advocacy contribution rather than a large-scale technical implementation.
Since 2017
Participation in the work of the Conference of INGOs of the Council of Europe (Digital Citizenship working group). Providing expertise on the societal transformations driven by digital technology and formulating recommendations for political institutions.
2021
Civic engagement
Lead candidate on the departmental list in the regional elections, running on a citizens’ platform advocating direct democracy.
2018 – 2020
Joined at the creation of the company. Designed and built the full IT infrastructure for the data-science team in a highly constrained environment (group private cloud, internet access through proxy, multi-level authentication).
Introduced Docker Swarm and associated best practices (isolation, least privilege, centralised logging and monitoring). Delivered pipelines, resilience measures (business continuity) and compliance with GDPR and banking requirements.
2013 – 2018
Contributed to Firefox development (Mac-specific components, Mach-O support in Courgette, test automation).
In parallel, played a major role in the visibility and public presence of Mozilla France: organising events and public debates (notably around the Intelligence Act) and contributing significantly to the organisation’s media coverage in France.
2006 – 2012
End-to-end creation of a new security product: market study, feature definition, planning and delivery (architecture, development, user interface, marketing and documentation).
Managed a team of three on the porting and evolution of VirusBarrier for Linux. Developed a neural-network-based artificial-intelligence module.
Structuring & architecture
Building infrastructure under constraints, resilience, business continuity, DevOps / DataDevOps practices, isolation and least privilege.
Product & design
End-to-end product creation (from market study to delivery), UX, design, planning.
Infrastructure & systems
Linux, Mac, Docker / Swarm, self-hosting, resilience, monitoring, low-power environments (ARM, single-board computers).
Clarification & transmission
Ability to ask the right questions, connect domains, pass on knowledge and surface original solutions.
Languages & tools
C++, Python, Bash, Objective-C, JavaScript, Git / GitLab… learned and applied as needed.
Based mainly on a sailing boat in the Toulon / Hyères area (with easy access to Nice and Marseille airports) and in Paris.
Cycling is my daily means of transport: the bicycle travels on board and is used as soon as I dock.
Preference for sober, resilient and autonomous approaches (personal infrastructure, embedded electronics, home automation) — a form of joyful sobriety.
